Barrack Commanders and Field Training Troopers (FTT’s) assigned personnel from academy class 144 are invited to the academy on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 1100 hours to meet with their troopers. Commanders and FTT’s will be provided trooper advisory packets and will have the opportunity to discuss reporting dates, schedules, expectations, and other important information.  Due to logistics and time constraints, no trooper advisory packets will be handed out at the graduation ceremony.  Commanders and FTT’s planning to meet with their assigned troopers on April 27, 2016 should wear the uniform of the day and RSVP to First Sergeant Gordon Cottman by April 20, 2016 at gordon.cottman@maryland.gov
 
On Friday, April 29, 2016 academy class 144 will be formally inspected by Colonel William M. Pallozzi.  The superintendent’s inspection will commence at 0700 hours and will occur inside the gymnasium at the Maryland State Police Academy.  Commanders are welcome to attend but will not have the opportunity to speak to their troopers prior to graduation.
 
Following the superintendent’s inspection, graduation will be hosted by Winters Mill High School, 560 Gorsuch Road, Westminster, Maryland 21157.  The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 1000 hours on April 29, 2016.  All Maryland State Police personnel are welcome to attend the ceremony.  Uniform of the day for graduation will be Class “A” with Stetson.
