Wanda Jean Windsor, 74, of Gettysburg, PA. took her last breath on earth and first breath in heaven on February 12, 2024, at her home with her husband and sister by her side. Jean was a warm, loving, gracious individual who will be remembered as the most loving and devoted wife, mom, grammy and friend. Born October 11, 1949, Wanda was the daughter of the late Charles Calvin Stafford and Anna Jewel (Morgan) Stafford. Jean spent the latter of her professional life working for COPT Property Management Services, as their Executive Secretary/Office Manager. She retired from this company to spend time doing the things she loved. During her lifetime she was surrounded by God, family, and friends. Jean enriched her spiritual life at Foursquare Church and as a faithful member of Gettysburg Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and attending all the grandchildren’s activities. She enjoyed her Red Hatter’s Group, loved gardening, puzzles, reading and Christmas. She loved shopping for antiques and well just shopping. She loved flowers, nature, birds (bluebirds and hummingbirds) were her favorite. She loved giving to others and making others happy. She is and always will be the heart of our family. Her journey with cancer enabled her to touch many lives, her family, friends, neighbors, and medical team by sharing her strong faith and love for her savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was always in the forefront of her life. Jean had an amazing love for the Lord and spent her days sharing God’s loving message of salvation, mercy, and grace. Jean was an angel on this earth.
