We regret to inform you of the death of Colleen B. Ford, Wife of Retired TFC H. Paul Ford, Jr., on Monday, September 14, 2015.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ford family and their friends at this difficult time.  Funeral arrangements have been made at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.  The following obituary information has been reprinted from the Obits for Life website.  We apologize for the late notice however we were just notified this morning.

Salisbury-Colleen B. Ford, of Salisbury died Monday, September 14, 2015 at her home in Salisbury surrounded by her loved ones.
 
Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of Mary Elaine Barr and the late Robert S. Barr.
 
Mrs. Ford worked for many years in Special Education at different schools in Wicomico County as well as with the Maryland State Department of Education. Colleen was an appointed mediator for the Wicomico County Court System as well. She officiated field hockey, basketball and women’s lacrosse on the high school and collegiate levels. She was inducted into the Eastern Shore of Maryland Chapter Phi Delta Kappa in 1997. Some memberships throughout her life included the Maryland Public Secondary School Athletic Association, The Lower Eastern Shore Field Hockey/Lacrosse Officials Association, the Council for Exceptional Children and the Learning Disabilities Association. Mrs. Ford held a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Salisbury State University, a master’s degree in special education from Western Maryland College and had earned her administrative certification. She was also a member of Gunby Presbyterian Church in Stockton.
 
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, H. Paul Ford; son Todd Pruitt and his wife Charlene of Goose Creek, SC, daughter Lyndsay Morris and her husband Todd of Powder Springs, GA, and son Chad Ford of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren Shannon, Robbie, Lola and Hill; sister Connie Wigglesworth of Salisbury and her beloved dogs Mickey and Molly. 
 
A Memorial Service will be held today, Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a calling one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev. Tom McKelvey. Inurnment will be private by the family.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her memory to the Worcester County Humane Society, 12330 Eagles Nest Rd., Berlin, MD 21811.
