As we know, this is a strange time to be out in the community on a daily basis. First, we recommend protecting yourself as much as possible. This means following all CDC and State Government recommendations to the full extent possible.

However, it’s obvious that our troopers may be in contact with individuals exposed to the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. If any trooper believes that they have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19 or that is showing symptoms of the illness, it should be documented, in writing, immediately. This can be done by emailing a supervisor, filling out an MSP Form 199, a Form 17, etc. It is important that if there is job exposure it’s documented. It’s our prayer that none of our members are infected, but we want you protected if you are.
