The Maryland Troopers Association
was organized in 1979 for the purpose of advancing the principles of professionalism in law enforcement and to facilitate a meaningful dialogue between employees and the Administration concerning issues of mutual concern.

Since the inception of the Maryland Troopers Association in 1979, we have worked diligently to protect and further the traditional values of the Maryland State Police by supporting the men and women who deliver those services daily. From the beginning, we have enjoyed the loyalty and support of Civilian Members who realize the profound influence such values have in providing quality law enforcement services to Maryland citizens.
