Obituary for Robert Dallas Graham
Delmar, MD – Robert D. Graham, born in Washington, D.C. on August 12, 1940, passed away on June 24, 2023.
Mr. Graham attended Charlotte Hall Military Academy, from which he graduated in 1957. He served many years with the Maryland State Troopers as Major and Assistant Commander with the Special Services Division, and was a certified criminal intelligence analyst. In the early 1970s, he served as a body guard for Maryland’s Lieutenant Governor, Blair Lee III. He also served as commander of the Baltimore Port Police.
After retirement from the Maryland State Police, Mr. Graham served as chief bailiff for the Talbot County Courthouse and as an Enforcement Officer for Talbot County Planning and Zoning.
Mr. Graham was predeceased by his parents, Charles Robert Graham and Virginia Louise Baker Graham, as well as his siblings Charles Edward Graham and Doris May Graham. He was also predeceased by his loving wife of twenty-four years, Alice Faye Welch Graham, who passed on February 10, 2022.
Mr. Graham is survived by his wife of ten months, Angela Morgan; his brother, James Allen Graham (Trudy); his children, Robert Graham (Tina), Caroline VonEsche (Fred), Anthony Graham (Penny), and Mary Keene (Barry); his stepchildren, LeeAnn Hutchison (James), Shelly Beck (Creig), Michael Childers, and Anthony Childers (Michele); thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren,
And many Nieces and Nephews.

While it was well known that Mr. Graham desired a funeral and proper burial, Angela Morgan of Delmar, Maryland donated his body to Anatomy Gift Registry, with his remains to be cremated.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a future date.
