The MTA has an immediate opening for a retired Maryland State Police Trooper or civilian employee to serve as the MTA Benefits Coordinator. The main function of the position is organizing, updating and maintaining the membership database. Other duties are assisting with sales of merchandise in the MTA Store and at off-site events, maintaining membership and vendor files, providing assistance to MTA Lodge presidents, committee members and membership of the MTA, coordinating with Standard Life and AFLAC insurance companies for member benefits, providing building maintenance support and assisting the Executive Director in the overall operation of the MTA.
This is a part-time position, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some flexibility. Salary is $15 to $20 per hour depending on the individual’s skill level in Microsoft Access and Excel.
