Description: The Office of the State Prosecutor is seeking applicants for the position of Special
Agent/Investigator.
The Office of the State Prosecutor is an independent statewide agency charged with the
investigation and prosecution of criminal offenses related to public corruption, official misconduct,
election law and campaign finance violations, and multijurisdictional offenses. More information

Position: State Grade 17. Starting salary is normally in the range of $65.000 to $72,000,
depending on experience.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of investigations experience,
including the investigation of felony crimes, public corruption, financial crimes, and/or official
misconduct offenses. Experience with high profile or sensitive investigations and sophisticated
investigative techniques is essential, along with excellent writing and general investigative and
people skills. On an occasional basis, the incumbent may be required to work outside of normal
business hours and to travel throughout the State.
