William (Bill) Larmore is an Eastern Shore Native, graduating from Wicomico High School in 1988. He then went into the Army and was in the 82nd Airborne. Bill was accepted into the Maryland State Police Academy and has been serving the State of Maryland since 1997. His current assignment is as a Sergeant at the Princess Anne Barrack. He has one year left of duty until retirement in 2022. In May 2021, Bill began experiencing back pain. Bill was told he probably had a slipped disc or arthritis and he scheduled an MRI. After the MRI, the family found out he has a spinal fracture and Multiple Myeloma Cancer. Bill is currently undergoing treatment and his wife, Sharon, has taken a leave of absence from her work to support him. Any financial donations will help the family during this difficult time.
