We regret to inform you of the death of Major (Retired) Morris L. “Moe” Krome. Moe was at the Dove Hospice in Westminster and was with his family. The Maryland Troopers Association sends its deepest condolences to the Krome family at this difficult time.

Moe was an active participant of the Maryland Troopers Association serving on the Finance Committee since 2014 and was Vice President of the Maryland Troopers Foundation. Moe also served on the Maryland State Retirement and Pension Board of Trustees for 16 years, preserving the retirement rights of current and future Maryland State Trooper retirees, as well as all Maryland State retirees. While a Trustee, Moe served on the Audit Committee, was Co-Chairman of the Administrative Committee, and was an active member of the Investment Committee.

A celebration of the life of Major Morris L. Krome will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 4 P.M. at the Pritz Funeral Home, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 P.M. for friends and family.  From 6 to 7 P.M. a Memorial celebration will be held.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Major Krome to the MSPAA Memorial Fund, 1750 South Plantation Drive, Dunkirk, MD 20754 for the Maryland State Police Museum, or The Dove House Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
