*Troopers Tour of the Capitol

May 14th, 2012

Also, we will be revisiting the Troopers Tour of the Capitol.  The NTC ran it for about five years.  The Maryland State Troopers Association originally coordinated it, then with more states getting involved (NJ, DE, NY and any NTC members that were in town for Police Week), the NTC started getting more involved.

We usually run the buses on the 14th at 6:30 p.m., so we ask all uniformed troopers to be at the COPS sponsored Hotel, the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, 5000 Seminary Rd., Alexandria, Va., at 6:00 p.m.  We shall be visiting some of the DC landmarks, ending at the Memorial and then returning that evening.  Troopers from the various states ride the buses in uniform.  The family members, kids, and especially first time surviving families seem to really enjoy it.

Member are encouraged to attend in uniform.
