We regret to inform you that on April 7, 2020 Retired Sergeant Raymond Nizer, 80, passed away. The Maryland Troopers Association sends its deepest condolences to the Nizer family at this difficult time.

Nizer, Raymond Bauer “Ray”, 80, Hudson, Florida, died April 7, 2020. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a retired State Trooper for the State of Maryland, and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Dunedin FL. He moved to Palm Harbor FL in 1992 from Baltimore MD. Then to Hudson FL in 2014. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Charlotte Ann; children Kathy Nizer, of Orlando FL, Raymond F. Nizer (Stephanie) of Tampa FL, Rodney Mobley (Karen) of Red Lion PA, Kerra Alexopoulos (Greg) of Palm Harbor FL, Paul Nizer (Alexix) of Lake Worth FL, Jennifer Rakas (Steve) of Baltimore Maryland, Sara Burnham (Greg) of Trinity FL, Katie Nizer (Brad) of Land O’Lakes FL;14 grandchildren; brother Harry Nizer (Regina) of Stewarts Town PA; and sister Kathy Dircks (Wayne) of Lewes DE.
There will be a “Celebration of Life” at a later date.
