We regret to inform you that Retired Sergeant Billy Caudill passed away on March 24th, 2021 at the age of 77. Sergeant Caudill served with the Maryland State Police for 25 years until his retirement in 1993. The Maryland Troopers Association extends their deepest condolences to the entire Caudill family.

White Hall, MD – Billy Joe Caudill, age 77, of White Hall, Maryland passed away on March 25, 2021 at his home. Born in Welch, West Virginia, he was the son of Talmadge Joseph and Alda Victoria (Osborne) Caudill and husband of 58 years to Nancy L. Caudill. Bill has lived in Harford County for most of his life, retiring from the Maryland State Police in 1993 after 25 years of service, mostly in Harford County. He was a devoted family man and was proud of his grandchildren. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and collecting Pepsi memorabilia.

In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by his daughter, Teresa Gail Grace and husband, Jeffrey of Forest Hill; three grandchildren, Nicholas Robert Eklund and wife, Kimberly of Jarrettsville, Madelyn Marie Pike and husband Cory of Havre de Grace, and Christina Caudill Morrison of Forest Hill; great-step-grandson Brayden Woerner, and great-granddaughter, Isla Marie Eklund. Also survived by nephews, Joseph Caudill and wife, Cindy, and Keith Caudill and wife, June, and nieces, Betty Hughes and husband, Jimmy, and Christine Creasman and husband, Bart, and many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Harold Don Caudill, sister, Janice Tickle, infant sister, Helen Doris Caudill, and two nephews, Michael Ledford and Randall Caudill.

A service was held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Celebration of Life Center, Jarrettsville, Maryland on Monday, March 29. Interment took place in Highview Memorial Gardens.
