We regret to inform you of the death of retired D/Sgt. Warren H. Pitt at age 68 on August 10, 2013.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.  The following obituary information has been reprinted from the York Daily Record. 

 

YORK Warren H. Pitt, Jr., 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2013, after a long illness, at home surrounded by his family. Warren was born on June 5, 1945, in Baltimore, Md. He was a U.S Air Force Veteran, retired as a Detective Sergeant from the Maryland State Police, and was a member of the American Legion and the Democratic Club.

 

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine (Christopher) and Warren H. Pitt, Sr.; and his daughter, Saundra L. Pitt. He is survived by his “significant other”, Ann Frauenhoffer; his three daughters, Annemarie Frauenhoffer and her husband, Jim of Stewartstown, Marla R. Miller and her husband, Jason of Elkton, Md., and Kimberly J. Dausinger and her husband, Michael of Wilmington, Del.; his extended family, including Rob Frauenhoffer, Tom Frauenhoffer, and Anne Marie Knowles; along with nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce C. Yoka of Abingdon, Md.;, his niece and nephew; and many other relatives. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
