We regret to inform you that on Wednesday, June 16th, (PCO) Tina Glassman passed away at the age of 68. The Maryland Troopers Association sends it’s deepest condolences to the entire Glassman family during this difficult time.
Christina “Tina” Marie Glassman, age 68, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on June 16, 2021 at her home. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of Anthony Stephen and Anna Marie (Michl) Hughes and wife of Charles “Ken” Glassman. Tina was a Police Communications Operator with Maryland State Police before becoming a Deputy with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. She enjoyed crabbing, fishing, boating, and was a member of Al-Anon.
In addition to her husband, Christina is survived by her two sons, James Glassman and his fiancee, Amanda von Bank and Robert Glassman and his wife, Valerie; brother, Stephen Anthony Hughes; two sisters, Cherl McElwain and Deborah Marley; five grandchildren, Mackenzie and Jordan Glassman, Matthew Addicks, Chelsea Vitale, and Caden Biddle; three great grandchildren, Kacey Harlacher, Liam Addicks, and Brooklynn Vitale; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10-11 am with services to follow at 11 am. Interment will take place in Jarrettsville Cemetery.
