We regret to inform you of the death of Mrs. Nancy Alice Ingram, Wife of Retired 1/Sgt. Thomas Y. Ingram and Mother of Retired Sergeant Craig T. Ingram, on Friday, July 14, 2017. Nancy Alice Ingram of Massey, MD died Friday, July 14, 2017 at Compass Regional in Centreville, MD. She was 82.
Born February 26, 1935 in Qanitco, VA, Nancy was the daughter of the late John J. Petitt and Marguerite “Junkins”. She was a 1953 graduate of Arundel High School. After graduation she went to work as an Instructional Aid for Ann Arundel County for 5 years before going to work for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources where she eventually retired in 1997. Nancy enjoyed decorative painting, crafts, reading and quilting. She was a member of the Maryland State Police Alumni, Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 29 and Chesapeake Bay Decorative Painters.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Thomas Y. Ingram and one sister, Annette Daff and one great granddaughter; Ryleigh Jean Ingram.
She is survived by three sons, Craig Ingram (Deborah) of Massey, MD, Tracey Ingram (Karen) of , Centreville,MD, Casey Ingram (Megan) of Denton, MD, one sister, Paula Hall of Sebring, FL, and thirteen grandchildren, Alex, Vanessa, Logan, Daniel, Brittany, Craig II, Heather, Tommy, Brandi, Nichol, Maggie, Emma, Delanie, and numerous great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10am to 11am with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11am at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD.
