We regret to inform you of the death of Mr. Wilbur L. Hinkle, father of Retired Captain Phillip E. Hinkle on May 27, 2014. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phil and his family at this time. The following obituary information has been reprinted from the Haight Funeral Home website.
Obituary for Mr. Wilbur L. Hinkle
On May 27, 2014, Wilbur Leslie Hinkle age 94. of Murrels Inlet, SC, formerly of Howard County, beloved husband of the late Evelyn Virginia Hinkle, devoted father of Eddie, Phillip, Harry, Alan and Barbara Hinkle and loving brother of the late Margaret Wonn and the late Evelyn Wilson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Columbia Memorial Park.
