We regret to inform you of the death of Georgia Ann Bollinger, Mother of Retired D/Sgt. John Bollinger, on July 21, 2017.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bollinger family at this difficult time.  The following obituary information has been reprinted from the Singleton Funeral Home website.

Obituary for Georgia Ann Bollinger
 
Georgia Ann Bollinger, 86, of Linthicum, passed away on July 21, 2017. 
 
Georgia was born on June 18, 1931 in Princeton, Minnesota to the late Neil and Dolly (Branchard) Grow. When she was 12 her family moved to Maryland, where she graduated from Seton High School. Georgia attended a wedding with one date and left with another date. The second date was William George Bollinger who was home visiting from the Military. After a brief courtship they married on January 7, 1950. Together they spent 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2013. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family and the needs of her home. She was a member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe and devoted Catholic who had a sincere appreciation for her faith. She enjoyed movies and reading, however her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her family especially loving and babysitting her grandchildren.
 
She was the devoted mother of, Janet Otto (Dustin), Carol Wellham (Mark), Patrcia Coburn (Rick), William Bollinger, Jr. (Julia), John Bollinger (Cindy), Robert Bollinger (Jennifer); beloved grandmother of, Melissa Strege (Steve), Stephen Colehouse, Carly Naerhig (Austin), John William Bollinger, Christine Coburn, Gabrielle Bollinger, Madison Bollinger, Sarah Bollinger, Ryan Majka, and Nick Majka; two sisters-in-law, Delores Zimmerman, and Dorothy Rapp.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, William George Bollinger, Sr.; 2 grandsons, Thomas J. Wellham, and Jason Coburn; siblings, Elaine Byers, Edythe Wilhelm, and Irle Grow. 
 
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Thursday, July 27th from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 28th, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
