We regret to inform you of the death of Dorothy H. Armstrong, mother of Retired Capt. Dorothy H. Armstrong passed away on October 10, 2015. Born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Leonard and Margaret (Tolland) Doucette in June of 1922. Dorothy served her country as a sergeant in the Marine Corp during WWII. She worked as a secretary for the Anne Arundel County Board of education at Corkran Jr. High School. Dorothy volunteered for 25 years with Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Marley Milers, Methodist Women and Young at Heart at Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, listening to music but most of all she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Armstrong and daughter, Jane Spray. Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her sons; Ronald Armstrong of Pasadena, Paul Armstrong of Millsboro, DE, Leonard Armstrong of Westminster, Stephen Armstrong of Glen Burnie; brother, Raymond Doucette of Rome, NY; 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. 
 
Friends and family may call at the Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday the 16th at 12:00 P.M. Interment with military honors in Crownsville Maryland Veterans Cemetery to follow service.
